Liza Strakhov, a graduate student in comparative literature at Penn, presents the University of Pennsylvania Library’s Ms. Codex 902. The Chansonnier, written in Middle French in France ca. 1400, is a collection of 310 poems by Guillaume de Machaut, Oton de Grandson, Brisebare de Douai, Eustache Deschamps, Philippe de Vitry, and others.
It was presented at the Delaware Valley Medieval Association Meeting at the Kislak Center for Special Collections Rare Books & Manuscripts of the University of Pennsylvania Library. September 21, 2013.
