Manuscript Monday: Ms. Codex 1058 – Glossed psalter

Dot Porter, Curator, Digital Research Services at the University of Pennsylvania Library, offers a video orientation to Penn Library’s Ms. Codex 1058, a Glossed psalter. This manuscript was written in Laon, France, ca. 1100, in Latin, and includes the Book of Psalms with extensive, mostly unattributed, interlinear and marginal glosses, followed by canticles with glosses.
